Module 2 Initial blog Post

The teacehrs that I worked with these last two weeks- teach a class called toddler 2-obviously they are toddlers at the age of 2. This has been a great experince for me and I also feel that it was a great experince for the children. The teachers and the students all welcomed me into their classroom and made me feel comfortable and right at home. The children were very well behaved. I love working with young children so I thought that by doing my fieldwork in a daycare would be awesome. The first day in the classroom the children had to take tiem to get used to me and to feel comfortable around me and I was the same way. Many of the children would come to me before they went to the teacher. The second time I was there the children were in a group time where they were using numbers and I find it very interesting how young children learn and comprehend things. In this setting I sort of sat back and observed how the children interacted with the teachers and with one another. The children in this classroom get along so well- I was very surprised. I just know that this is going to be a great quarter working with these children and with the two teachers of the classroom.
